1) To open Microsoft Outlook click on the icon highlighted below next to the "Start" button.

2) Or - click once on "Start" -> "Programs" -> "Microsoft Outlook" and Microsoft Outlook will then open.

3) To create or edit an account, click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the screen. In the drop-down menu, select the "Accounts" Tab.

4) The "Internet Accounts" window will now open. In the new window, select the "Mail" tab. Click on the "Add" button on right. Click on "Mail" in the sub-menu.

5) The Internet connection wizard window will appear. Type in your name and surname, or company name, in the "Display name" field (when you send an email to someone, this is the name that they will see). Click "Next".

6) Using lowercase, type in the email address you were given when you opened your polka account.

7) Select "POP3" as your incoming mail server type.
Type the "Incoming and Outgoing" mail server names in lowercase in the relevant spaces.
Click "Next".
8)Fill in your account name (this is your username, i.e. your full email address) and your password in the relevant spaces.
Note that the username and password is case-sensitive.
Selecting "Remember password" is optional.
Do not check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)".
Click "Next".

9) Select the first option, “Connect using my phone line”.
Click "Next".

10) Select "Use an existing dial-up connection". Then select your dial-up connection from the list in the white box below. Click “Next”.

11) Click "Finish" to complete the account setup.

12) The "Internet Accounts" window now contains your new account. Click on "Close" at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

13) You are back in the main window of Microsoft Outlook. Click the "Send / Receive" button to check for new email messages.
